Today the Ghost Riders manager was interviewed by the local newspaper Scottish CyclingNews about his past.
We decided to post part of the piece here so that ours fans and rivals can know a little more about the man behind the team.
SCN: Why did you decide to accept the jobs to manage this team?
Blaze: Mostly because I wanted to help Scotland develop their young talents and also to avoid that this riders have to go to foreign teams to be trained.
SCN: Before you signed for this team you were already a cycling coach. Back then, the riders you were training called you a "scientist", why was that?
Blaze: First of all, I was not called "scientist", but "Mad Scientist".
Second, I think that the reason for that was because of my "innovative" training methods.
SCN: Apparently some of the riders considered you creepy and some of them even called you a lunatic. Do you have anything to say about that?
Blaze: The creepy part may be because I usually wear a lab coat and I always feel that I am being watched, probably because the teams from the top divisions want to kidnap me to steal my training methods.
As for the lunatic part, maybe because I, sometimes, would let out a maniacal laugh, like this: Muahahahahaha.
Hope everyone enjoyed this little bit of information about me.
See you out there,
Blaze
